Make A Difference – AXIS Silent Auction 努力让世界更美好 – 长菁静默拍卖会

Last Saturday, a Silent Auction was held on campus and raised funds for children’s orphanage.

A Silent Auction is a fundraising event where items are sold to the highest bidder without a traditional auctioneer calling out bids. Instead, bidders write down their offers on a bid sheet next to the corresponding item numbers. Lucky winners ultimately secured their items. A total of 171 items, including artworks from students and teachers, were showcased, raising over 15,000 RMB. This reflects the generosity and community spirit of our supporters. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dear guests, friends, and families for their kindness and support.

This Friday, our Student Council members and the school leadership team visited Xiamen Social Welfare Center to understand the needs of the children. The funds raised will be used to purchase essential supplies, bringing warmth and care to the children.

上周六，我们在校园里成功举办了一场静默拍卖会，为社会福利中心筹集善款。

静默拍卖会是一场筹款活动。活动中，物品以最高出价者的方式售出。不同于传统的拍卖师叫价竟拍，而是采用竞价者在相对应的物品编号旁的竞价表上写下他们的报价。幸运儿们最终收获他们想要的物品和作品。拍卖会上总共展示了包括学生和老师的艺术作品在内总共171件展品，总共筹集善款超过15000元人民币。这一成果得益于每一位慷慨解囊和无私奉献的展品背后捐赠者们和竞标者们。我们特此对所有到场的来宾、朋友和家人们所给予的善意和支持，表达衷心感谢。

周五，我们的学生会成员和学校领导团队一同前往厦门市社会福利中心进行拜访，实地了解孩子们的需求。这次活动筹集的善款将全额用于为孩子们购置冬季物资和生活用品，为他们带去温暖和关爱。
