Recap: College Information Session – the University of Melbourne 回顾：澳洲墨尔本大学校园宣讲会

On October 15th, the second college information session — featuring the University of Melbourne, Australia — was held on campus. Our STUCO members organized the event and hosted both the opening and closing segments.

The Admissions Officer from the University of Melbourne, Ms. Song, provided students and parents with comprehensive information about the university’s majors, facilities, curriculum, admission requirements, and important application timelines. During the Q&A session, Ms. Song addressed all questions and concerns raised by parents, including some common myths from the internet.

These college information sessions are an excellent opportunity for applicants to gather firsthand information about the colleges they are interested in, ask questions directly to the admissions officers, and learn more than what is available on their websites.

On November 5th, eight universities from around the world will participate in a college fair on campus. This event aims to provide students with valuable insights into various educational opportunities and facilitate direct interactions with university admissions officers from University of Warwick, University of Bath, Queen Mary University of London, University of Glasgow, EHL Hospitality Business  School, Lausanne, Switzerland, Syracuse University, McMaster University, and Lakehead University.

10月15日，本学年第二场大学宣讲会（主题大学：澳洲墨尔本大学）在校园里举办。学生会成员们组织了整场活动，并且主持了开场和结束的部分。

来自墨尔本大学的招生官Ms. Song为在场的学生和家长带来了关于大学非常全面的信息，包括了大学专业、学校设施、课程、录取要求以及申请的重要时间线等。在提问环节，Ms. Song也就家长们提出的问题，包括一些网络上常见的误解，都逐一进行了解答。

对于申请者来说，大学宣讲会是一个非常好的机会，可以收集关于大学的第一手资料，向招生官面对面提问，同时了解更多网站上没有提供的信息。

11月5日，在长菁校园，将有来自世界各地的八所大学参加我们的海外大学展活动。这场活动旨在为学生提供关于多样化教育机会的珍贵见解和讯息，同时促进学生和大学招生官们的面对面的互动。这八所大学分别是：英国华威大学，巴斯大学，伦敦玛丽女王大学，格拉斯哥大学；瑞士洛桑酒店管理学院；美国雪城大学；以及加拿大麦克马斯特大学和湖首大学。
