ISS President Visited AXIS ISS 全球总裁到访长菁

On October 30th, Ms. Liz Duffy, the President of International Schools Services (ISS), and Mr. Greg Smith, the ISS Vice President of Asia-Pacific, visited the AXIS campus. Our Head of School, Dr. Don, led them on a tour of our beautiful campus, showcasing various educational and activity spaces, including the classrooms, the Music Hall, the Auditorium, the Coffee Shop, Collaboration Spaces, and the Maker Space. During the tour, Ms. Liz showed her great interests in the student artwork in the exhibition hall and was impressed with the high standards of the AXIS facilities, especially the well-maintained student dormitory.

Following the tour, the school senior leadership team engaged in an in-depth discussion with Ms. Liz and Mr. Greg about the current landscape of international education and explored future cooperation opportunities and further support from ISS. Reflecting on the AXIS’s establishment in 2021during the pandemic, Ms. Liz expressed her admiration for the school’s achievements in overcoming challenges and achieving rapid growth. AXIS now has the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum certification for primary and the U.S. Common Core Standards. The Advanced Placement (AP) courses are offered in Upper Secondary School. AXIS is also an authorized AP and SAT Test Site.

The AXIS Board and the Head of School, Dr. Don, expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the visit of Ms. Liz and Mr. Greg, appreciating their consistent support and valuable advice. This visit marks a closer collaboration between AXIS and ISS in the field of international education.

随后，学校高层管理团队与 Ms. Liz 和 Mr. Greg 一同就当前的国际教育环境进行了深入探讨，探索未来的合作机会以及 ISS 能够给予的进一步支持。会上也回顾了长菁于 2021 年疫情期间的创校历程，Ms. Liz 对学校在应对挑战并实现快速发展的卓越表现表达了高度赞许。长菁在教学中遵循美国的共同核心标准，小学部提供 IB（国际文凭组织）课程，高中部提供 AP（美国大学预修课程）课程。长菁也是授权的 AP 和 SAT 考点。
