College Information Session: Fordham University 福特汉姆大学宣讲会

On October 9th, Wednesday, our first College Information Session – Fordham University – was held on campus, organized by our Student Council (STUCO) members. They provided a host, a video recorder, and a photographer for the event.

Ms. Zhang, the Admissions Officer from Fordham University, delivered a comprehensive presentation about Fordham, its location and two campuses, and student life abroad. She introduced the application requirements, majors, curriculum, and scholarship opportunities available to students. Additionally, she shared her insights on choosing majors and career paths. At the end of her presentation, she encouraged students and parents to ask their college counselors and directly contact the admissions office of the universities they are interested in to obtain firsthand and accurate information.

A big THANK YOU to Ms. Zhang, who traveled from New York to Xiamen to give us valuable insights into the university and international student life in the U.S. We also appreciated our STUCO members for organizing this event for us.

10月9日，周三，由学生会成员们组织的第一场大学宣讲会 – 福特汉姆大学宣讲会 – 在校园里举行。学生会成员们为活动现场安排了主持人、摄像师和摄影师。

来自福特汉姆大学的招生官Ms.Zhang为大家带来了一场信息丰富的讲座，内容包括了福特汉姆大学的介绍、所在的城市和校区、以及国外的学生生活等。她也介绍了大学申请要求、专业、课程以及开放给学生的奖学金机会等信息。另外，她还与大家分享了在专业方向和职业道路的选择方面的一些见解。讲座最后，她鼓励学生和家长，如果对于自己感兴趣的大学有任何的问题，可以咨询本校升学导师或者直接联系大学招生办公室，以此获取第一手的准确信息。
