How to Apply

AXIS uses an online application system. Prior to being considered for admission, please submit an online application, the required documents and the application fee. Once the online application is submitted, an email with a link to the parent admissions account will be sent. Communication throughout the application process is through the parent admissions account. You may also apply for a sibling from the parent account.

Application Process

The admissions process at AXIS is the opportunity for families to learn more about the school and for us to learn more about our prospective family. We have a holistic approach when evaluating applications based on academics, social skills, developmental readiness and school recommendations.

Early Childhood Center (ECC-1, ECC-2)

1. Complete the AXIS online application form. 【Website or miniprogram】 (click here to apply)

2. Upload and submit the following documents:

  • A photocopy of the student’s inoculations/immunization records
  • Passport
    • A photocopy of the student’s passport (photo page and Chinese visa page)
    • A photocopy of both parents’ passports (photo page and Chinese visa page)

3. Payment of a 2500 RMB application processing fee.

4. Complete an admissions student playdate and parent interview.

5. Receive notification of decision

6. Formal Acceptance (Completed Enrollment Process)

  • Sign and submit the AXIS Enrollment Agreement
Kindergarten (KG) - Grade 12

Kindergarten (KG) - Grade 12

1. Complete the AXIS online application form. 【Website or miniprogram】/a>

2. Upload and submit the following documents:

  • A photocopy of the student’s inoculations/immunization records (KG to G5)
  • Passport
    • A photocopy of the student’s passport (photo page and Chinese visa page)
    • A photocopy of both parents’ passports (photo page and Chinese visa page)
  • Contact information of two references from current school.
  • School academic reports and records from the last two years.
  • Standardized Test Results are not mandatory. Secondary students (Grades 6 and above) that have recent standardized test scores (MAP, SSAT, ISA’s etc.) may include those results but these scores are not mandatory. All students that do not have the standardized test scores have the opportunity to apply and eventually be admitted to AXIS as long as they meet the admissions enrollment standards and criteria. Standardized test results must be received in English or translated into English.

3. Payment of a 2500 RMB application processing fee and a non-refundable testing fee. The testing fee is 1500 RMB for the first time and 800 RMB for each retest.

4. Complete a student admissions assessment, interview, and parent interview.

5. Receive notification of decision
